Over the years, REGAP of Illinois has received several greyhounds with special needs. Because of their special needs, they have been hard to place into homes. Many of these greyhounds lost their homes due to illness or tragic family circumstances.
Because we don't want these greyhounds to spend the rest of their lives in the kennel, we place them into homes or into permanent foster situations with the agreement that REGAP of Illinois would support their medical needs for their lifetime.
When you become a sponsor you are helping REGAP to support these greyhounds so they can continue to stay in their home. Sponsorships can be rewarding for school classrooms, retirement home residents, and others who can't adopt their own greyhound, but want to help a greyhound.
Donate $10, $15, $25 (or more) a month to sponsor a REGAP of Illinois' "special needs" greyhound. Donate $10 a month (or $120 a year) and you can help one greyhound get his yearly vaccinations and heartworm prevention or pay for his or her food.
